Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Sr. Clinical Coder for DRG validation, claims review, and coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS). Will act as SME and support teams with coding accuracy and compliance.
Must-Have Requirements
- CIC / CCS / RHIT Certification
- Able to obtain DoD clearance
- 5+ yrs clinical coding experience
- 3+ yrs claims processing (inpatient/outpatient)
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG
Key Responsibilities
- Perform DRG validation & claims review
- Ensure coding accuracy & compliance
- Identify errors/fraud issues
- Prepare reports & determination letters
- Support internal teams as coding SME
