Supervision of the hospital. Serves as management representative while on duty. Responsible acting as a role model for the vision and values and uses established policies procedures and other pertinent references as guidelines for clinical practice. Will ensure implementation of the strategic plan and goals for the Department of Nursing and the hospital while working collaboratively with Medical Staff Chief Nursing Officer Nurse Managers Nursing Staff and all allied staff. Collaborates with patients families physicians and associates to meet customer needs and expectations in a patient focused healing environment. Promote and maintain a healing environment addressing the physical mental and spiritual dimensions of care. Independent resource to the patient care units to facilitate patient care departments in meeting the immediate patient care needs and is accountable for administering supervising or coaching this process to strengthen the accountable work team.
