Our Client, a Cancer Center company, is looking for a Coder II for their Remote location.
Responsibilities:
- Compiles and keeps medical records of patients of health care delivery system to document patient condition and treatment.
- Checks medical records for completeness and to abstract and code clinical data, such as diseases, operations, procedures, and therapies, using standard classification systems.3-5 years of experience
Requirements: - Surgical coder - multispecialty, oncology preferred
- 5+ years exp in multispecialty
- CPC cert
- Only codes major surgeries so they are very complex
