Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (32 Hours/Week – Fridays Off)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Coder/Biller to join our elite administrative team. The ideal candiate will work along side another Coder/Biller. In this onsite role, you will manage the full revenue cycle for our specialized dermatology practice. You will be the primary advocate for our patients and the practice, ensuring accuracy in claims and efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Revenue Cycle Management: Execute full-cycle billing, including submitting clean claims, posting payments, and managing accounts receivable.
• Claims & Denials: Aggressively work denials and perform consistent, professional follow-ups with insurance companies to maximize reimbursement.
• EHR Management: Utilize our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to ensure all dermatology-specific codes (ICD-10-CM) are captured accurately.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our Practice Manager and clinical staff to maintain a positive, efficient office culture.

Qualifications

• Certification: Must be a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or have an equivalent billing certification.
• Experience: Previous experience in medical billing and coding is required. Dermatology-specific experience and familiarity with EMA/Modernizing Medicine EHR is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work well with other employees in a collaborative, onsite environment.
• Reliability: Must be able to maintain the 32-hour Monday–Thursday schedule consistently.
