Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our core team and drive the development of plebeian.market . As a key team member, you will help shape both our technical direction and our organizational culture.
Skills
Proven experience as a Front End Developer with a strong portfolio
Deep familiarity with Nostr (especially key NIPs), Lightning, and Bitcoin
Client heavy React application built on nostr with some backend elements
Proficiency in TypeScript (essential)
Experience with NDK (@nostr-dev-kit/ndk)
Familiarity with shadcn, tanstack-store, tanstack-query, tanstack-forms, and zod
Key Responsibilities
Develop new, and enhance current features for plebeian.market
Build and innovate on Nostr and self-hosted Lightning solutions
Architect and develop web, self-hosted, Lightning, and ecash applications
Manage your own project workflows and collaborate with a distributed, remote team
Stay informed about the latest advancements in the Bitcoin and Nostr ecosystems
Attend regular meetings
Operation of your own node
Requirements
Commitment of at least 20 hours per week
