We are seeking a Certified Medical Billing & Coding Specialist to join our busy healthcare practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced with insurance claims, coding accuracy, and revenue cycle workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims
- Verify eligibility & benefits and resolve denials
- Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts
- Work A/R reports and maintain clean claim rate
- Communicate with providers and staff for documentation support
Qualifications:
- Certification required: CPC, CCS, or equivalent
- Minimum 1–2 years experience in billing/coding preferred
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 and payer rules
- Must have experience with eClinical Works EMR
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
