Core Lab Supervisor (ASCP) to join our laboratory leadership team. This role is ideal for a certified Medical Technologist with strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for quality patient care. The Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations within the Core Laboratory and ensure accurate, timely diagnostic testing in compliance with all regulatory standards.
Pay: $74,545 - $94,674
Schedule: Mid Shift 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Core Lab, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to lab staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and hospital policies and procedures.
- Perform and oversee quality control procedures and instrument maintenance.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
