Job Description
Job Summary: - Perform complex clinical laboratory testing to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Ensure accurate, timely results while following all quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with clinicians and lab team members across multiple shifts.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform and verify testing across core lab disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, immunoassay, and microbiology as applicable.
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers.
- Review, interpret, and validate results with appropriate quality control and proficiency testing.
- Troubleshoot instruments, reagents, and workflow issues to minimize downtime.
- dhere to CLIA, CAP, and state regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures.
- Support training, competency, and oversight consistent with a General Supervisor designation.
- Document activities accurately in the laboratory information system.
- Communicate critical results promptly to providers and nursing staff.
- Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications: - SCP, AMT, or equivalent certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist.

- t least three years of prior clinical laboratory experience.

Schedule and Compensation: - Work schedule options include 12-hour shifts or night shifts.
- Night shifts may follow a 4 x 10-hour schedule per week with rotating weekends.
- The typical salary range is $23-$44 per hour or $69,000-$95,000 per year, depending on source and experience.
