About the Role

We are currently seeking a Medical Analytics Specialist with a robust foundation in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data integration. In this dynamic role, you will have the chance to conceptualize, prototype, and develop cutting-edge analytics models that will guide data-driven decisions. The right candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to apply analytics and machine learning techniques, enhancing communication strategies and ensuring tailored engagement with healthcare professionals and thought leaders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Data Integration & Management:
- Analyze and integrate pharmaceutical data, including insurance claims and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Collaborate with the Omnichannel Data Engineering team to unify data from customer relationship management (CRM) systems and social media platforms.
- Utilize natural language processing to derive meaningful insights from unstructured medical texts, such as clinical notes and support call transcripts.
- Identify key data features that influence decision-making and create engaging visualizations to effectively present your findings.
- Advanced Analytics & Modeling:
- Deploy predictive analytics and clustering algorithms to reveal insights and trends across various communication channels.
- Partner with the Omnichannel ML/Ops engineer to develop and implement scalable predictive models that improve sales strategies and anticipate customer behavior.
- Create robust models that adapt to Otsuka's evolving product portfolio, ensuring smooth integration into our analytics framework.
- Maintain expertise in the MLOPS lifecycle, utilizing tools like AWS, Kubernetes, Snowflake, and Dataiku.
- Omnichannel Optimization:
- Design and execute recommendation systems tailored to personalized communications based on stakeholder preferences and behaviors through advanced machine learning techniques.
- Analyze omnichannel campaign performance to pinpoint crucial touchpoints and enhance engagement strategies through A/B testing and uplift modeling.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Effectively articulate analytical methodologies to support the strategic goals of business partners.
- Collaborate with medical affairs, marketing, and IT teams to align and integrate omnichannel strategies while providing technical assistance for data initiatives.
- Stay informed on emerging trends and cultivate partnerships to enrich Otsuka's analytical capabilities.

Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in data sciences or computer science, with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data analytics algorithms using tools such as Python, R, or SAS.
- Familiarity with machine learning applications in life sciences and managing relevant datasets is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for leading cross-functional teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, including feature engineering and model deployment.
- Experience managing machine learning projects from inception to completion.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
- Prior experience in the healthcare sector is beneficial.
Compensation: Minimum $164,530.00 - Maximum $245,985.00, plus additional incentive opportunities. Compensation is commensurate with experience and skills relative to the role.
