Job Description
High School Diploma or GED required
1–3 years of healthcare coding or related healthcare experience
One of the following certifications: COC, CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA (or agreement to obtain within 6 months)
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT coding systems
Minimum 95% coding accuracy with ability to meet daily production goals
Basic EHR, encoder, and computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel)
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and disease processes
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
Must have COVID vaccination and booster (proof required)
