Job Title :Remote Medical Coder - ED & Outpatient Location :Bronx, NY Duration :3Months Education :High School Diploma or GED (Required) Shift Details :8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Specific Skills :Perform medical coding in an acute care hospital setting Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes accurately Code Emergency Department and Outpatient encounters Ensure compliance with payer and federal billing guidelines Utilize EPIC EMR and 3M encoder systems Research and resolve coding-related issues Maintain productivity and accuracy standards Support training and quality initiatives CCS or CPC Certification (Required) Strong Inpatient Coding knowledge Hands-on experience with EPIC and 3M Proficiency in ICD-10 coding General Description:We are actively hiring an experienced Certified Medical Coder to support Outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding operations in Bronx, NY.This position begins with 1-2 weeks of onsite training and then transitions to a remote work arrangement once workflow competency is achieved.
