Responsibilities Under general supervision in the Health Information Management department, you will accurately assign diagnostic codes in a timely manner. You will identify the need for backing‑up various tasks, provide problem‑solving support for HIM staff, and act as a backup to the Director during absences. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED and equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: One year of medical record processing; one year of inpatient psychiatric or acute care hospital coding experience (C‑D‑10 CM and ICD‑10 PCS). Licensure: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC‑H.
