What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Oversee and supervise the Local Coverage Determination (LCD) and Local Coverage Article development and maintenance functions
Ensure timely updates and accuracy of LCDs based on national coding guideline changes and CMS requirements
Manage the policy team responsible for LCD and Article development, ensuring timely completion and delivery
Maintain communication with external customers and professionals regarding LCD and Article activities
Assist in project management tasks related to workload, budget, and reporting for LCDs and Articles
What is Required (Qualifications):
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years' related work experience in a clinical field (e.g., RN, PA, or PT) or health insurance operations
At least 2 years of direct supervisory or project management experience
Proficient in research of CMS guidelines and coverage decisions
Active and current medical professional licensure - Registered Nurse (RN) license
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
5+ years' related work experience
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential
Direct supervisory experience
