Job Summary
Following established conventions and guidelines, codes and abstracts the medical records of the diverse population of ER records with facility E&M levels. Meets departmental accuracy and production standards.
Requirements
1 to 3 years of experience.
Associate’s degree preferred – Health Information Management, Health Information Technology or any related field.
Certifications required – CCS, CPC, RHIA or RHIT.
