We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Coding Specialist to be part of our talented team. Ideal candidates will have a background in facility coding and a solid understanding of inpatient and outpatient coding processes. Essential Functions

1. Efficiently and accurately code facility services for numerous surgical procedures and diagnostic studies.
2. Understand and implement NCCI edits and bundling requirements within a facility environment.
3. Familiarize with implant charging and coding in facility settings.
4. Independently research and resolve coding issues to ensure accurate payment.
5. Collaborate with the billing department to ensure smooth accounts receivable processes.
6. Draft appeals for any denied claims.
7. Identify coding trends and develop proactive corrective measures.
8. Engage with administration to enhance operational processes.
9. Represent Trajectory and its clients with professionalism.
10. Maintain excellent customer service for our clients and their patients.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
