Job Title: Associate Compliance Auditor

Role Overview

The Associate Compliance Auditor is responsible for supporting organizational compliance efforts by auditing member benefit records prior to final processing. This role helps ensure accurate and timely benefit distribution while contributing to continuous improvement of audit processes and standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform audits of member accounts to ensure accurate benefit disbursement, including pension, refund, deceased, and disability cases
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to obtain information and resolve audit discrepancies with minimal supervision
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to enhance procedures and workflows
  • Support the compliance audit team in developing, reviewing, and updating standard operating procedures and process documentation
  • Ensure settlement-related records are accurately reported and aligned with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with audit team members and external stakeholders to investigate and resolve data variances and compliance discrepancies
  • Prepare and document manual corrections to member data when required
  • Research audit processes and develop consistent solutions, documentation, and resolution guidance
  • Review and resolve assigned benefit escalation tickets accurately and within established timelines
  • Participate in data cleanup initiatives and assigned audit projects
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related business field
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience

  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Familiarity with standard office software and computer applications preferred
