Supervisor Medical Assistant – PACE Clinic CalOptima invites a mission‑driven community organization to advance member health with excellence, dignity and respect for the frail and elderly. This role supports our PACE clinic team in Orange, CA, with full office or California‑only telework as approved. Responsibilities Supervise the PACE Medical Assistant (MA) team, ensuring daily operations, regulatory compliance and quality documentation. Coordinate patient care, staff scheduling, training and performance evaluation of CALOptima Health PACE MAs. Develop and revise PACE policies, conduct in‑service training and maintain MA schedule for adequate staffing. Assist program support activities, including grievance resolution, quality improvement oversight and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Work flexible hours, evening and weekend events as required. Contributions to the Team (50% Supervision, 45% Program Support, 5% Other) Hire, train, supervise and evaluate MA performance. Direct care delivery, documentation oversight and policy revision. Organize training, maintain schedule and guide complex patient issues. Participate in performance monitoring, quality improvement goals and interdisciplinary collaboration. Complete additional projects and duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma plus 1 year experience with frail/elderly population or equivalent combination. 3 years supervisory experience or acting in a leadership role. CPR and First‑Aid certification required, obtain within six months of hire. Medical assistant certification from an accredited school. Preferred Qualifications 3 years work experience, including at least 1 year with elderly population; recent 3‑year experience. Bilingual in English and one of CalOptima threshold languages (Arabic, Farsi, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese). Benefits Competitive compensation (Pay Grade 306: $58,205–$90,217).
