Join more than 1,100 surgical organizations that trust nimble solutions and its advisors to bring deep insights and actionable intelligence to maximize their revenue cycle./ppstrongOn a typical day, heres what youll be working on:/strong/ppProvide coding of medical records and any applicable supporting documentation./pulliCodes records to assign ICD-10, CPT, and modifiers in accordance with coding guidelines./liliMeets quality and productivity standards and deadlines/turnaround times./liliAssigns indicated account and claim data attributes as indicated (POS, revenue code, implant pricing)./liliDemonstrates thorough understanding of how work impacts the project/end customer./liliRecognize, interpret, and evaluate inconsistencies, discrepancies, and inaccuracies in the medical data received and appropriate alerts and/or queries indicated by party or supervisor./liliReviews and correctly responds to AR tasks related to pre-claim edits pertaining to coding and post-submission denials./liliDemonstrates a good rapport and works to establish cooperative working relationships with all members of the team./liliDemonstrates willingness and flexibility in working additional hours or changing hours whenever required between normal business hours./li/ulpThis job description will be reevaluated by leadership periodically to allow for any necessary modifications due to client profiles changes/updates, workflows, policy changes, and regulatory compliance requirements./ppstrongCoding/Compliance:/strong/pulliTo ensure the security and confidentiality of all clinical data handled, including the safekeeping of all health records./liliTo function as the first point of contact regarding coding issues./liliTo promote the interchange of dialogue between nimble management and coders./liliTo have an active involvement in the development and implementation of current information relevant to medical/surgical coding./liliTo be aware of all statutory and local requirements regarding coding policy changes./liliAssist with client billing questions in a professional and timely manner./liliComplete coding queues and AR queries as assigned./liliAddress client concerns in a prompt and professional manner./liliParticipate in task force committees and special projects, as required./liliAssist with client audits, as needed./li/ulpstrongWho you are!/strong/pulliAAPC or AHIMA certification required, such as CPC, CPC-H, CCS, or CCS-P./liliTwo years of medical coding, billing, and management experience preferred./liliExcellent people skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and clients./liliAbility to work in a collaborative environment./liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills./liliKnowledge of Healthcare industry./liliKnowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, and Excel./liliStrong organizational skills./liliAbility to analyze and problem solve./liliAbility to work with accuracy and diligence./liliAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously./li/ul/div
