Your Role:

  • Conduct a thorough review and analysis of medical records to accurately code diagnoses according to project-specific guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to ICD-10 CM coding regulations and third-party reimbursement policies.
  • Achieve and maintain a minimum coding accuracy rate of 95%.
  • Perform any additional tasks as requested by leadership.

What You Bring:

  • Certification from AHIMA (RHIA, RHIT, CCS) or AAPC (CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC, or CRC).
  • A minimum of 2 years of HCC coding experience with current certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, medical terminology, abbreviations, pharmacology, and disease processes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a thriving work environment.
  • Ability to maintain high-quality work in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Strong capability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving aptitude, and time management expertise, particularly in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office without requiring additional training.
  • Capability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously, as needed.

This position offers a base pay of $19.60/hour, with opportunities to earn additional incentives starting at $3.00 per chart based on quality and production metrics.
