Pay Range: $18–$22/hour (based on experience and interview performance)

We’re hiring a skilled Medical Billing Specialist with strong experience in appeals and denials to join a reputable healthcare organization in Mesa, AZ. Schedule & Benefits

• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Location: On-site in Mesa, AZ

Key Responsibilities

• Submit accurate billing data and medical claims to insurance companies
• Review and manage A/R processes, appeals, and denials
• Verify insurance eligibility and patient information
• Communicate with patients and insurance providers regarding claims and inquiries
• Maintain documentation and uphold confidentiality at all times
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and commercial insurance guidelines (HMO/PPO)

What We’re Looking For

• Experience handling medical A/R, appeals, and denials
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS
• Comfortable using EMR/EHR systems (a plus!)
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
