As a Combat Coder, you will play a vital role in mission success by rapidly integrating data sources and creating user-friendly interfaces directly in collaboration with the end-users.
Your role will involve hands-on development of all facets of full-stack applications, with immediate deployment and feedback. This position is part of a small, high-performing team dedicated to achieving mission objectives efficiently.
About the Position:
We are looking for a Combat Coder, a highly capable and versatile full stack developer who excels in dynamic and resource-constrained environments. You'll be responsible for developing and integrating mission-critical systems utilizing Python, Apache NiFi, and other contemporary tools, often in situations where connectivity is limited. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate systems and data flows with Python, NiFi, and various integration frameworks.
- Create robust solutions that work effectively in challenging conditions with limited bandwidth.
- Work in collaboration with diverse teams to swiftly prototype and deliver essential capabilities.
- Troubleshoot and refine code and workflows in real-time, often with incomplete data.
- Document and enhance solutions for sustained maintenance in field operations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of related experience, or a Master's Degree with 10+ years of experience. Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance, capable of retaining clearance during employment.
- Proven experience in full stack development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, with expertise in using Apache NiFi or similar data integration tools.
- Ability to operate effectively in environments with disrupted network connectivity.
- Deep understanding of APIs, data workflows, and system integration patterns.
- A creative problem-solver who enjoys navigating complex challenges.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with source control systems like GitLab.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with JEMA and ArcGIS.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices in isolated environments.
- Knowledge of secure coding principles and cyber-resilient architecture.
- Previous experience in defense, mission-critical, or field operations.

The salary range for this position is $131,300.00 - $237,350.00, influenced by factors such as responsibilities, education, and experience.
