Salary Range: $18.79 - $27.25 per hour (Philadelphia) / $33.50 - $45.50 per hour (Greater Philadelphia)
About the Role
Cooper University Health Care is seeking a staffed Coder III, PRN - Remote who will perform inpatient and outpatient coding for high acuity accounts, including Observation, Radiation Oncology, Chemotherapy Infusion, Cardiac Cath/Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, and Surgery to support revenue cycle goals for timely billing.
Responsibilities
Code high-acuity inpatient accounts.
Code technical outpatient accounts such as Observation, Radiation Oncology, Chemotherapy Infusion, Cardiac Cath/Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, and Surgery.
Support revenue cycle goals for timely billing.
Experience
3-5 years of coding experience (inpatient coding preferred).
Education
High School Diploma or GED.
Certification
RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, COC, CPC, CCA, CCC, CIRCC, CCVTC, or any of the Core Credentials or specialty credential of AAPC or AHIMA required.
