About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our healthcare billing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies, following up on unpaid claims, and ensuring accurate reimbursement for medical services.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and submit electronic and paper claims to insurance companies.
Verify accuracy of patient information, codes, and billing data before submission.
Monitor claim status and follow up on denials or rejections.
Post payments and adjustments accurately in the billing system.
Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance representatives regarding billing inquiries.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all billing regulations.
Generate reports and assist with month-end reconciliation as needed.
