What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Review, analyze, and validate CPT and ICD-10 diagnosis codes and charges for compliance with regulations
Assist the Supervisor in daily operations of coding teams, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met
Define and submit coding/edit rules to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency
Conduct professional fee billing integrity reviews and audits to identify compliance opportunities
Act as a liaison for external audits, organizing the process and implementing necessary changes
What is Required (Qualifications):
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
CPC Certification required upon hire
Minimum of two years prior experience in professional fee coding
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Knowledge of multiple coding specialties
Experience with provider professional fee coding and charge processing
Familiarity with LEAN management skills
