Medical Billing Specialist

Potential candidates must have strong communication and organizational skills. Strong knowledge of medical billing, ERA's, insurance websites and denial codes. Experience in Otolaryngology a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Posting payment, patient and insurance * Charges - requires knowledge of CPT's and ICD-10's * Understand and communicate to patient the balance on account * Denial Management * Follow-up with payers to ensure timely resolution of all outstanding claims, via phone, fax, email or websites * The ability to use Word and Excel * Any other projects or duties assigned by management * Cross training for coverage * We offer a competitive benefit package * Monday to Friday * 8-hour shifts Company Description Otolaryngology Associates of Tennessee (OAT) is a group of medical and audiological specialists committed to providing excellent ear, nose, and throat care for patients throughout Middle Tennessee.
