Job Description

The individual hired for this position will serve as Coder for Qualitative Study (RAPID). Responsibilities include coding qualitative interviews; examining/analyzing subsequent themes, narratives, and quotes; and contributing to the write-up of a manuscript for publication. The individual will work closely with a team of 6 coders and attend weekly meetings via Zoom.

Race and Psychosis Intervention Development (RAPID): This project aims to develop a culturally tailored treatment for Black Americans with first-episode psychosis (FEP). This project will be completed in two phases. The first phase involves qualitative interviewing of clients, family members, clinicians, and PS/S and SE/E specialists with experiences in dealing with FEP. These interviews will inform the development of a culturally tailored treatment manual. The second phase of this project will involve an open pilot trial implementing the interventions outlined in the manual developed in phase one.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

BA/BS in psychology or related field (e.g., neuroscience).
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Prior experience coding qualitative interviews and utilizing data analysis software (e.g., Dedoose, Atlas, or NVivo) is preferred.
