Job Summary\:
The Medical Office Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of department. Responsibilities will include supervising general pediatrics division, preparing and overseeing support staff schedule, oversight of the pre-cert/referral process and revenue cycle, ordering of office supplies, posting and assistance with staff recruitment, correspondence, arranging various tasks for smooth and efficient operation of the practice.
This position is involved in a team-based approach to care. Team members are trained to meet the highest level of function for their role as per the State of Tennessee/Georgia guidelines. Is trained and assigned (as per their role and responsibilities) to coordinate care for patients and is trained and assigned to support patients/families/caregivers in self-management, self-efficacy and behavior change. Is trained and assigned (as per their role and responsibilities) to manage the practices' patient population. Participates in the practice's quality improvement process and performance evaluation.

High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience\:
Required\:
Two years experience in healthcare related field; knowledge of healthcare practice procedures and equipment required.

Department Position Summary\:
Responsibilities include assisting with the accountability for quality patient care and the orientation, joint commission preparation, education, growth, and performance of the practice. Supervising pediatric contact center staff and create a patient centered, customer service environment as well as working to resolve patient concerns and issues is also expected. Further responsibilities include assistance in the development and management of the operational and capital budget, product evaluations, supply acquisition, inventory control, and formulating and implementing strategies for increased effectiveness and efficiency.
