Certified Medical Coder Virtual Interview Day

Catholic Health is actively seeking talented and certified medical coders to become an integral part of our dedicated team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CCS or CCS-P required
• Minimum one year preferred experience with hospital ICD-10-CM and CPT Coding. A coding certificate from an approved program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review medical records to accurately identify and code diagnoses and procedures.
• Use ICD-10-CM guidelines to select appropriate codes for patient care episodes, including cases requiring multiple codes.
• Utilize accurate CPT codes for the procedural coding of ambulatory surgery patients.
• Enter and edit patient data for assigning DRGs in the Grouper, following approved guidelines for coding and sequencing.
