Behavioral Health hospital is hiring 2 full-time professional Medical Coders of 2 years, proficient in IRF (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility) and BH (Behavioral Health, Pediatric) to join our team onsite in Sherman, TX. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS One Medical Coder of 2+ years, proficient in IRF (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility) to know specific coding guidelines and regulations that govern Rehab Services.
One Medical Coder of 2 years proficient in BH (Behavioral Health (Pediatric - Inpatient) PHP/IOP (intensive outpatient program).
2 or more years of medical coding experience - REQUIRED
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-PCS, CPT/HCPCS coding, and discharge analysis is essential to support quality metrics and compliance programs.
Experience with MEDHOST software.
2 years in HIM (Health Information Management) coding OR completion of HIM education program preferred.
