As a trusted advisor to leading healthcare organizations, you will apply your expertise in coding, reimbursement, compliance, and documentation to help clients improve revenue integrity and reduce risk.What You'll DoPerform inpatient and outpatient facility coding audits and reimbursement reviews, including:ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding validationMS-DRG and APC validationCharge capture and revenue integrity reviewsClinical documentation improvement (CDI) assessmentsThird-party payer compliance evaluationsDeliver high-quality client reports, recommendations, and presentationsManage multiple engagements while maintaining exceptional quality and compliance standardsCollaborate with PYA's consulting, compliance, and executive teams to deliver comprehensive client solutionsWhat We're Looking ForCCS, RHIA, RHIT, CIC, or another AHIMA/AAPC coding credential required5+ years of inpatient coding auditing and reimbursement experience, preferably in a hospital, consulting, or professional services environmentStrong knowledge of coding, billing, reimbursement, and documentation requirements across inpatient and outpatient hospital settingsExcellent communication, project management, and client relationship skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environmentHighly PreferredProfessional fee (profee) coding audit experienceCPC, CCS-P, or similar professional fee coding credentialExperience within a healthcare consulting or professional services firmWhy PYAJoin a high-performing, collaborative, and privately owned firm with a strong national reputationWork alongside industry-leading healthcare consultants and coding professionalsEnjoy meaningful client impact, professional growth opportunities, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits
