You'll work closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure documentation integrity and coding excellence.What You'll Do:Review and code patient encounters for accurate claim submissionAudit documentation for compliance and coding accuracyCollaborate with providers and staff to resolve coding questions and discrepanciesAssist with claim edits, denials, and reimbursement-related coding issuesProvide coding guidance and education to clinical teamsSupport quality improvement and revenue cycle initiativeWhat You'll Bring:CPC or CCS certification requiredAt least 3 years of medical coding and/or billing experienceStrong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirementsExcellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication abilitiesExperience with FQHC, primary care, behavioral health, or dental coding preferredAt HealthFirst Bluegrass, every role contributes to our mission of delivering accessible, compassionate healthcare.
