We're hiring a Remote ED Charge Abstractor I to join our Revenue Integrity team at Kootenai Health!
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with foundational coding knowledge who are looking to build specialized expertise in Emergency Department facility coding, charge capture, CPT assignment, modifier application, and documentation review.
What we're looking for:
1+ year of hospital experience (2+ preferred)
Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and E/M documentation
Experience with ED facility abstracting, ICD/CPT coding, and modifiers preferred
Strong attention to detail and computer skills
This is a full-time remote position for most eligible U.S. states.
