Coder/Medical Billing Associate – Join Our Team!
(On-Site in Fair Lawn, NJ - $20 - $25 - Medical Billing Associate)
(Please note, pay scale may differ for experienced Certified Professional Coders with 5+ years of experience.)
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated full-time Medical Billing Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on medical billing experience and understands the insurance billing and collections process.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Submit and follow up on medical claims.
- Handle denials, appeals, and reconsiderations.
- Verify insurance benefits and eligibility.
- Post payments and resolve outstanding balances.
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims and payments..
- Workers’ Compensation (WC) billing experience is preferred, but not required.
- Assist with other billing and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- CPC (Certified Professional Coder) preferred.
- Previous medical billing experience required.
- Strong knowledge of insurance claims and billing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
