Seeking a full-time Florida Licensed ED Coder with over 2 years of experience in Trauma 1 and Teaching University Health Systems, who will review medical records, perform coding for diagnoses and procedures, and ensure compliance with coding guidelines while working remotely during standard business hours. Key responsibilities: Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from various medical records Assign correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedure codes with accurate sequencing Maintain compliance with external regulatory requirements and ensure coding accuracy for reimbursement purposes Required qualifications: Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program Minimum of 2-4 years of current production coding experience in acute care and professional fee coding Licenses and certifications such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCS-P Experience with Epic and 3M 360 CAC coding software Familiarity with ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines #J-18808-Ljbffr
