Job Description
iMedX is seeking a Behavioral Health Medical Coder to join our team remotely on a part-time basis. The role focuses on accurate inpatient psychiatric and PCS coding, with preference for experience using My Avatar (NetSmart) and familiarity with managed behavioral health payers.
The coder abstracts data from health records, determines principal/secondary diagnoses, and assigns ICD-10-CM and PCS codes in alignment with Official Coding Guidelines.
