Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Hours: 35 hours/week

Weekend Requirement: Must be comfortable working one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)

Pay Rate : $35/hr on W2

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong Outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of outpatient coding experience , including experience coding in an emergency room setting

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of outpatient medical coding experience .
• Emergency Room/ED coding experience required .
• Acute care coding experience.
• Proficiency with 3M Coding Application .
• Knowledge of HDS Coding Application .
• Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal billing guidelines.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to research and resolve coding issues.
• certification CCS CCP AHIMA RHIA RHIT
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• English proficiency required.
