*** This position requires flexibility for travel during thesecond week of employment for training purposes. Training may be conductedlocally or at an alternate location based on business needs. Candidates shouldbe prepared and available to travel as required during this time. ***
What You’ll Do: Audit tenant certifications to ensure applicants andhouseholds meet project, program, and income eligibility requirements
Use your high attention to detail to complete certificationprocessing and ensure files are reviewed within a strict 24-hourperiod
Support clients in achieving regulatory and financialcompliance by ensuring submitted files are eligible and fully compliant
Stay up to date on changes and updates in affordable housingregulations and program requirements
Who You Are: Highschool diploma or GED
Three plus (3+) years of experience in affordable housingcompliance and/or affordable property management
Section 8, LIHTC, HOME, and RD program experience
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
Attention to detail with a focus on quality
Demonstrated resourcefulness and good judgment
Task focused with the ability to work in a deadline-drivenenvironment
Ability to travel up to 10%
Ideal to Have: Bachelor’s degree in business, housing studies, regulatoryaffairs, or another rule-based field
Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Certified Professionalof Occupancy (CPO), Blended Occupancy Specialist (BOS), and/or Specialist inHousing Credit Management (SHCM®)orother affordable industry certifications
Knowledge of Yardi or other property management softwareprograms
