Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, schedule and job dutiesResponsibilitiesSubmit, track, and follow up on insurance claimsResolve unpaid, denied, or rejected claimsFile appeals and process refunds when appropriateAssist patients with billing and insurance questionsMaintain knowledge of insurance policies and billing proceduresWork claim edits, validations, and clearinghouse issuesMaintain confidentiality and compliance standardsSupport team workflow and complete additional duties as assignedQualificationsMedical billing certification or Minimum 1 year healthcare experienceStrong communication, organizational, and customer service skillsAbility to multitask and work effectively in a team environmentProficiency with computers and standard office equipmentKnowledge of eCW EMR a plus, but willing to trainBayview Physicians Group is proud to foster a positive workplace culture where employees can grow and succeed.
