Position Summary Accurately bills customer accounts, assures timely remittance and takes immediate action on issues that involve account integrity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Contacts carriers and patients to resolve outstanding balances. Maintains optimal communication and rapport with all payors. Maintains accurate account notes and documentation. Handles questions and inquiries from internal and external customers. Follows up on outstanding balances to determine why claims have not been paid, handles denial follow-ups and appeals. Requirements: Prior experience in patient billing preferred.
