Medical Billing Specialist
Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated Medical Billing Specialist to join their team. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be an integral part of the billing department supporting the revenue cycle process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.
Location: Lake Mary, FL
Pay Range: $25/hr
What's the Job?
- Manage and process client billing information in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory policies
- Coordinate insurance verification and ensure clients understand their co-pay responsibilities
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resubmit rejected claims to ensure timely reimbursement
- Gather and verify all necessary documentation before submitting claims for payment
- Perform customer service support by resolving billing inquiries and maintaining accurate records
What's Needed?
- Experience working with front-end rejections and claim resubmissions
- Previous experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, payers, and team members
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and billing compliance standards
