Required Education: • MD or DO degree Certifications: • N/A Required Experience: • A minimum of 5 years professional experience in Medicine. Preferred Experience: • Experience teaching advanced concepts, demonstrating ability to distill and relay complex problems in logical, step-by-step thinking. Must Have Hard Skills: • Familiarity with AI Tools (Claude code, etc.) • Coding (Python probably preferred, but deep expertise in any will work) • Demonstrated deep understanding and expertise in the Medical Field • Exceptional analytical abilities to identify trends, evaluate annotation quality, and provide actionable feedback. Soft Skills: • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and guidance to internal teams and external vendors. • Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve shared goals. • Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes in a rapidly evolving environment. Required Availability: • Minimum availability of ~20 hours/week, preferred 40 hours/week. You'll join calibration calls with the team 2-5x per week. Responsibilities: • Domain Expertise Advisory: Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance, focused on your specialty field; collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data • Quality Assurance: Evaluate and grade the quality of annotations produced by vendors for SFT (Supervised Fine Tuning) and RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) annotations. Identify areas of improvement and provide feedback to optimize the quality of annotations. • Data Annotation: Directly annotate data for key tasks when necessary, including writing SFT responses and judging output quality for RLHF. Overview: • Join Client's cutting-edge GenAI team and help build foundational AI models from the ground up. We are looking for talented Medical subject matter experts (SMEs) to bring deep domain expertise and elevate the quality of our AI training data. This is a remote, flexible opportunity to collaborate directly with Client's AI research teams.
