Our client, healthcare services provider is seeking a Medical Biller to join their team. As a Medical Biller, you will be part of the billing department supporting the administrative and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, customer-oriented mindset, dependability, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Medical Biller
Location: Marquette, MI
Pay Range: $18 - $22 per Hour
Shift: M-F 8AM-5PM
What's the Job?
Manage and submit insurance claims accurately and efficiently
Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure timely resolution
Maintain detailed records of billing activities and communications
Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing issues
Ensure compliance with all relevant billing regulations and policies
What's Needed?
1-2 years of experience in insurance billing, preferably in a physician’s office
Proficiency with ICD-10 coding and billing software
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Dependability and ability to work in a team environment
