We are seeking a highly motivated ETM Coder (Coder I/II/III) to join our team.
The ETM Coder will work under direct supervision for coding, medical documentation review and charge capture of professional services in accordance with CMS guidelines. The individual in this position will verify and validate data for accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding for statistical reporting and reimbursement purposes, and will prepare charge capture documents for claims submission.
The ETM Coder will:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with prior coding experience strongly preferred. Must have CPC or equivalent certification. The ability to organize and work independently in a professional setting is required. Must maintain a positive attitude and exhibit team building skills. Sound decision making and high level verbal & written communication skills are essential to successful performance.
