Bausch-White Masonry, LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. Responsibilities:
- Review and process medical billing claims accurately and efficiently
- Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services
- Follow up on outstanding claims and denials to ensure timely payments
- Communicate with insurance companies and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and billing information
- Prepare and submit electronic and paper claims to insurance companies
- Monitor accounts receivable and identify and resolve billing discrepancies
- Stay updated on industry changes and regulations related to medical billing and coding
- Collaborate with other team members to improve billing processes and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding
- Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and insurance guidelines
- Familiarity with electronic medical billing systems and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
