Locals only !!!! 8H guaranteed, but can work up to 40 hours, if needed and available. EVE/NNIGHTS Must be available Wed-Sat to pick up shifts for call outs. THIS IS A FLOAT POSITION - Will be utilized between Tewksbury and Danvers for call offs - PLEASE READ: This position is a rotating shift, scheduled for eves/ nights as needed. Shifts may be last minute scheduled, so they must have open availability and be prepared to be called in last minute. Shifts could be scheduled ahead of time, or notified 2 hours prior to shift. The expectation should be set that they will need to be available for days or eves Wed-Sat. Only 8 hours will be guaranteed, but may be utilized for up to 40 hours, if they are available and willing. EXAMPLE: May be scheduled to work ahead of time between Wednesday-Saturday, with 2 hours notice for scheduling. IF YOUR CANDIDATE IS NOT ABLE TO DO THIS, PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT. Clients are provided with the medical and emotional support that they need during the one of the most pivotal stages in the recovery process. Services include individual case management and group treatment services focused on assisting the client with accessing step-down levels of care. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction. Essential Responsibilities including but not limited to: Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities. Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30-minute client well-being checks. Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties. Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor. Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Experience working with substance use population is preferred Valid Driver s License in good standing preferred Must be separated from any BILH affiliated facilities for 6 months prior to being considered.
