Cognizant is seeking an ER Medical Coder – E/M, Injections & Infusions, to review clinical documentation and assign codes for outpatient encounters across ED, observation, outpatient surgery, and diagnostics. This remote role requires independence, collaboration, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
The successful candidate will have 2+ years of facility outpatient coding, ED/E/M experience, and certifications such as CCS, RHIT, RHIA, CPC, or COC.
