Insight Global is looking for a Complex Surgical Coding Auditor to join a coding quality and education team focused on auditing professional fee surgical coding accuracy and supporting coder development across multiple surgical specialties. This individual will be responsible for auditing the work of 7-9 coders, conducting weekly quality reviews to maintain a 95% accuracy standard, and performing provider audits as needed. The role will involve reviewing complex operative reports, validating CPT, ICD-10, modifier, and global surgery coding accuracy, identifying coding trends and compliance risks, and providing education and coaching to coders and providers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading rebuttal discussions, delivering constructive feedback, and partnering with quality and education teams to improve coding performance. This position offers a long-term opportunity to grow into a coding education and quality improvement role supporting advanced surgical specialties.

Required Skills & Experience
• CPC or CCS certification
• ProFee coding experience with advanced ICD-10 knowledge
• Complex surgical coding experience across multiple specialties (General Surgery, Ortho, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Cardiothoracic, ENT, Urology, etc.)
• Coding audit experience with the ability to educate, coach, and provide feedback to coders
• Strong communication skills with a patient, confident, and collaborative approach
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Prior cardiology auditing experience
• CPMA certification
• Cardiology-specific certification
• Physician/MD audit experience
