Medical Biller- Payor Account Representative

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller- Payor Account Representative, who thrives in a team-focused environment and is committed to providing excellent service to patients and staff.

Competitive pay: $15-$27/hour. Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, schedule and job duties
Responsibilities
- Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims
- Resolve unpaid, denied, or rejected claims
- File appeals and process refunds when appropriate
- Assist patients with billing and insurance questions
- Maintain knowledge of insurance policies and billing procedures
- Work claim edits, validations, and clearinghouse issues
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance standards
- Support team workflow and complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Medical billing certification or Minimum 1 year healthcare experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment
- Knowledge of eCW EMR a plus, but willing to train
