Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle Specialist to manage the full scope of our practice's financial workflow. In this role, you will own the revenue cycle from start to finish-ensuring accurate benefit verification, clean claim submission, and aggressive denial management.

If you have a sharp eye for detail, a deep understanding of commercial insurance and Medicare, and expertise using RXNT, we want you on our team. Experience navigating the nuances of mental health billing is highly preferred.

salary: $22 - $24 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and electronically submit clean claims to both commercial insurance payers and Medicare.
  • Proactively verify patient insurance eligibility, copays, deductibles, and authorization requirements prior to appointments.
  • Review, research, and appeal denied or rejected claims. Follow up diligently on outstanding accounts receivable (A/R) to minimize aging balances.
  • Manage patient statements, post payments, reconcile accounts, and identify opportunities to optimize our overall collection process.
  • Utilize RXNT to accurately input, track, and manage all patient billing and financial data.
