Sr. Environmental Compliance Auditor
Mountaire Farms is seeking a senior auditor to manage environmental compliance tasks, programs and plans. Inspect facilities according to requirements, track audit dates, follow up and implement corrective actions. Responsible for maintaining the Intellex Program and producing monthly updates.
Responsibilities
Monitoring environmental compliance, i.e., permits, licenses, applications and records to ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
Identifying compliance issues and developing corrective action plans; acting as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems regarding production, quality and work problems as appropriate.
Compliance inspections—determining the nature of code violations and actions to be taken, developing corrective course of action. Updating Intellex Program.
Providing technical support to internal customers related to environmental projects, processes audits and compliance. Offering compliance training to internal customers, guiding and supporting to improve competency and commitment.
Ensuring policies and procedures for the general operation of the business unit’s compliance programs.
Qualifications
BS in Environmental Science or related field.
5‑7 years experience.
40CFR, Wastewater license, knowledge of federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
